Boxing Australia (Tasmania) Inc Mrs Leisha Vaughan to run a two-day Level One Boxing Coaches Course on Saturday & Sunday 28 & 29 November 2020 at the Bridgewater PCYC Boxing Club, 22-24 Greenpoint Road, Bridgewater, Tasmania 7030 from 10.00am to 3.00pm each day.
The requirements for the course is for coaches to register with Boxing Australia (Tasmania) Inc & pay their BAT Coach Membership
The pre-requisites for the Boxing Australia (Tasmania) Inc Level 1 Coaches Course are:
- First Aid Certificate
- Working with Vulnerable People Card
- Proof of completion of the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) Online Community Coaching General Principles Course Certificate
If people don’t have these on the day, we can let them participate but we just won’t issue them with their accreditation until they have produced the require paperwork.
The cost is $300 per person.
Minimum number for the Course will be 10 persons, registrations & payments will be required by 13 November 2020. EFT payments can be made into Boxing Australia (Tasmania) Inc account BSB 807-009 A/C 30118811 including name of participant in the payment.
Boxing Australia Level 1
The Boxing Australia Level 1 course is aimed at competition boxing coaches that coach at club and community level. The course requires the applicants to complete the Australian Sports Commisson (ASC) Online Community Coaching General Principles Course as well as a Boxing Practical Course by an approved BAL Presenter who will deliver a standardised course curriculum that has been approved by Boxing Australia Ltd. The BAT Presenter for the course being offered 28 & 29 November 2020 is Mrs Leisha Vaughan from Boxing Australia (Tasmania) Inc..
It is mandatory for any coach or second in a boxing bout approved by Boxing Australia or a Member Association to have the minimum level of accreditation (BAL Level 1).
